Shujian AI (书简智能) was founded in 2025 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Beijing eYou Information Technology Co., Ltd. (亿邮, "eYou"). We carry forward eYou's more than twenty years of deep technical accumulation in email and network communications, its relentless pursuit of security, stability, and efficiency — and a crack team built from eYou's core technical backbone.
As large language models become mainstream, we focus on deeply integrating cutting-edge AI with the email communication scenario, delivering intelligent mail-processing solutions — the flagship result of which is the SJ-Mail email client.

SJ-Mail is a local-first, AI-enhanced desktop email client for professional users. It rebuilds the classic desktop mail experience on a modern stack (Tauri v2 + Vue 3 + Rust), and deeply integrates large-model capabilities into every part of reading, writing, translating, and managing email through our self-developed SJ-AI protocol.
New in v0.7.0: lost API keys can be reset self-service (email-verified recovery, old keys auto-revoked); the AI chat dialog can be minimized to the system tray to run in the background, with a split-button entry; the usage dashboard connects to real server-side usage and shows quota reset policy; all synchronous commands across the repo made async, eliminating frontend freezes for good.

SJ-Mail applies local-first architecture, data encryption, and sensitive-action approval from architecture to detail, and can be fully privately deployed to keep data from leaking out.
